Description:
The overall objective of the project is to support Türkiye in its efforts to contribute efficiently and effectively to the EU effort in terms of achieving reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The Contractor is expected to complete the analysis of relevant EU and national legislation, and execute the transposition of EU ETS Directive including the legal framework gap analysis. In addition the Contractor is expected to examine CBAM effect, complete social, environmental and economic analyses, covering the issues such as investment plan and other issues at sectoral level, identification of administrative and institutional capacity needs, developing a capacity building and awareness raising plan and delivery of different trainings and workshops for all relevant stakeholders including public institutions and private sector will be completed.
