Description:
The purpose of this contract is to develop a Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy (SSMS) and the related Action Plan and take necessary steps for their implementation. It is also intended to improve the capacity of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality for uptake of technology in planning and management of urban transport. Under this contract, existing and newly acquired technological tools, including software on transport management, will be analysed to optimise their utilisation and new software modules will be developed for their integrated operation and for better responding the needs of the SSMS. The contract also includes promotion activities for increasing awareness about the necessity for reduced carbon emissions, importance of sustainable urban mobility and practical aspects for its achievement.
