• General Procurement Notice for Provision of Works, Goods, Non-Consulting Services and Consulting Services for Post-Earthquake Schools Construction Project Project ID NO. TUR1079 The Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Türkiye has received financing in the amount of USD 165,000,000 from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) towards the cost of Post-Earthquake Schools Constructıon Project and intends to apply the proceeds of the loan to eligible payments for the provision of works, goods, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under project. The Project aim is to support Türkiye's efforts towards the rapid delivery of inclusive, equitable and quality education across the country. The Project Development Objective (PDO) is to contribute to the provision of education services through the construction and operationalization of 33 green, resilient, and sustainable schools to the populace in the earthquake-affected and earthquake-prone areas. The project will include the following components; (i) constructing of schools, involving the construction of modern green and resilient school facilities as per the latest national standards (ii) enhancing quality learning environment including creating quality learning environments through the acquisition of educational equipment (IT equipment, laboratories, sports equipment, etc.) and furniture to provide adequate resources for effective teaching and learning, (iii) support to project management, provides support for project management to ensure smooth implementation and timely completion of all activities (iv) project financial audit, ensuring accountability and transparency. Procurement of contracts financed by the Islamic Development Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and related services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the Guidelines for the Procurement of Consultant Services under Islamic Development Bank Project Financing (current edition). Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open national competitive bidding will be announced, as they become available, on The Islamic Development Bank-s (IsDB) external website and on the free accessible web site of GDCRE (www.iegm.meb.gov.tr) and/or one of the newspapers of national circulation and/or official gazette/EKAP.
