- The purpose of the contract is to establish a reliable ecological assessment system of water quality for Türkiye considering different ecoregions by identifying the type specific reference conditions along with revising the reference monitoring network, developing or adapting specific biological indices for each Biological Quality Element (BQE), reviewing and developing hydro-morphological indices and determining their class boundaries by making use of EU experience and Inter-calibration process.
