- Expression of Interest are invited for Educational Building Retrofitting Supervision Consultancy Services. Name of the Project : Istanbul Seismic Risk Mitigation and Emergency Preparedness (ISMEP) Project The consulting services (βthe Servicesβ) consists of design, construction supervision and defects liability services for Public Buildings such as; schools, hospitals, polyclinics, dormitories and etc. These public buildings are located in Istanbul. The number of Public Buildings will vary due to the evacuation plan of the Provincial Directorates of Related Authorities. However, the final number of public buildings will have been decided in the Request for Proposal (RfP) documents to be sent to the short-listed consultants. Consultants shall: β’ Supervise the retrofitting construction works of school buildings with a total closed area of approx. 75.000 m2 (including defects liability period). These school buildings are located in various districts of Δ°stanbul. β’ Retrofitting supervision services of school buildings are expected to be started in June, 2024. (Duration for construction/retrofitting supervision will be approx. 12 months and the defect liability period will be 12 months.)
